Designation: Associate – Technical Incubation
Location: Chennai
Job Objective: To incubate innovations with a focus on technical feasibility.
Reporting to: Head – Operations
Qualification: Engineering (or) Graduate with specific exp as mentioned below + MBA (preferred)
Experience (Years / Nature):
2 years
+ Developing products and services for rural markets and/or socially relevant products
Skills: Engineering Design and Prototyping skills, Networking among experts/domain specialists, Developing/Testing products

KRAs / Activities
· Technology Assessment
- to assess an innovation for technical viability
· Technology Mentoring
- to offer advisory services to innovators to design and prototype their product, to support in technology transfers
- Provide structured support to Incubates as per the need of the technology
· Designing & Prototyping
- to actually design and prototype products based on market feedback
- to monitor and evaluate the success of the technology in achieving market needs and funding outputs
· Product development
- Assist with product development, especially to incorporate customer feedback from early test-stages
- Assist in identifying production facilities
· Incubation support
- Effective Incubation planning and scheduling
- Mentor Innovators and motivate them to stay committed to the process
- Facilitate the innovator to draw support from the appropriate technology expert / resource
- Escalate to Head – Operations when the innovator does not follow schedule consistently
· Internal support
- To develop an effective liaison with the business support team
- Contribute to selection of innovators for recognition/awards
