Designation: Assistant Manager – IPS

Reporting To: Head - IPS

Location: Gobichettipalayam

Job Objective: To create an effective “supply chain” of enterprises that will provide a portfolio of “innovative” products and services to project Samruddhi

Key Result Areas:

1. No of innovative products/services launched at the stores
2. Total sales - category and SKU wise
3. Time taken from min stock position at store to replenish stock
4. Credit terms obtained from enterprises
5. Trade discounts, Cash discounts, Promotion payments received from enterprises

Job Description: The following are the key activities to be undertaken as part of the job

1. Identify new and innovative products in the categories allocated based on feedback from stores
2. Negotiate business terms with the companies manufacturing these products
3. Enable field tests, trials and test marketing of these products
4. Create product selection templates
5. Present product selection templates and obtain approval of COO and Head-IPS
6. Train VLEs, SAs and SSO on the products and its sales strategy
7. Enable development of product promotion programmes
8. Managing sales forecasts
9. Collect sales forecasts from SOs and based on which place orders with enterprises
10. Liasion between the enterprises and Samruddhi

Job Requirements:

Education – MBA, agriculture graduation will be desirable

Experience – 2 years in supply chain management, age of max 25 years

Knowledge – good understanding of agriculture and related rural issues

Skills – strong articulation in English and Tamil, possess team playing skills

Attitude – should be a positive personality and should exhibit energy and enthusiasm, have integrity

Should possess 2 wheeler and mobile phone or be willing to buy them immediately
