I came to RIN because I wanted to gain field-level experience in the social enterprise sector, particularly in using innovation and appropriate technologies to improve livelihoods of lower income populations. RIN sounded like an ideal fit, and it was indeed a very good choice. From the start, I've been impressed with the support provided by the organization, the freedom that I've been given in my work, and the openness of Paul and others in the organization to receive feedback from someone new to the sector and company. I've had the chance to meet and learn from entrepreneurs, innovators, network partners, and other organizations and individuals working in this space. Also thrown into the mix has been the experience of living in Chennai for 3 months living during the heat of summer! It has been a great learning experience and has made me all the more determined that this is the sector in which I want to work. I'm glad I came and am going to miss the people here at RIN.
